thoughts of the day

this is what I've been thinking about lately...

that damn Pharrell happy song is way over played. I can't stand it. everyone just needs to stop with it. I even tweeted this a while back:

another thing that annoys the hell outta me is that filet o' fish song from McDonalds. I want to punch someone in the throat when I hear it.

I really want to see Neighbors, featuring (my main squeeze) Zac Efron. Seth Rogen is also in it. it looks so damn funny.
along with That Awkward Moment, also starring Zachary.
and Divergent. I read the books, I just hope the movie does it justice.

a few people have told me to watch The Following. I just watched the first episode of season one and its safe to say I'm already hooked.

and that's pretty much it, have a good day!

thought of the day

this one might just be me, but I think it's weird when chefs put the sauce on the plate first.

like you know, when they drizzle down some sauce then place the food on top of that. I love watching the Food Network and every chef or contestant does this. I know it's for presentation (that's a lie, I can't say for sure if that's why) but I think it's stupid. I don't want all that goodness hiding under my food, I want it on top so I can consume all of it. side note: I'm a huge condiment person. I love lots of it on my food, often times I pick more than one because I want the different flavors and like to switch it up.

also, I don't understand eggs and ketchup. hot sauce, yes. hollandaise, sure. ketchup, no.
and thousand island is only good on reubens (I tried it on salad the other day, why would anyone do that to themselves? gross.)

maybe it's just me. what do you think?

thought of the day

here's my thought of the day...

who invented the biathlon?
I mean, they ski around with a gun on their back then shoot at targets. who thought that was a good idea, a fun idea, or even a normal thing to do? it's weird.

I guess as long as it's in the olympics, GO USA!

and if you were really wondering: it was formed in Norway in 1861 as a way to promote national defense at the local level. (thanks Wikipedia.)

oh, and after I typed up this post I saw this:

have a good Wednesday!
