but I did read the book.
here's what goodreads says:
On a clear night in late June 2005, four U.S. Navy SEALs left their base in northern Afghanistan for the mountainous Pakistani border. Their mission was to capture or kill a notorious al Qaeda leader known to be ensconced in a Taliban stronghold surrounded by a small but heavily armed force. Less then twenty-four hours later, only one of those Navy SEALs remained alive.
I loved it. absolutely loved it. all of it. everything about it.
it's insane to learn what our Seals have to go through just to become a Navy Seal. those guys are truly the best of the best. and then to read what these guys faced over seas because of the fucking taliban al quaeda shitheads is unbelievable.
I really cannot express how much I respect our armed forces for doing what they do. for protecting this beautiful country. for standing up for me and my rights.
everyone should read this book. I highly recommend it. and then watch the movie (I know, I still have to watch it myself, but believe me, I will.)
thank you to all of our Troops, past, present, and future. y'all are amazing people. God bless.
